The Aviary

The Aviary is a semi-annual print magazine by and for female and non-binary students at American University. It publishes original writing on politics, campus life, and anything students feel compelled to put on the page.

The magazine gives a specific community a space to be heard. At a university with a strong political identity, that often means sharp, student-driven takes on national policy, campus culture, and the issues that sit at the intersection of both.
